08:39 – Mill Lane, Askrigg

Crews from Hawes were requested by ambulance to assist with the difficult extrication of a patient from their property. Crews used crew power only to move the patient and left them in the care of paramedics.

10:37 – Dalton

Thirsk’s crew was mobilised to assist police with providing scene safety after a road traffic collision due to cars previously smoking. After the use of a thermal imaging camera, crews confirmed there was no risk of fire and left the incident with police.

15:04 – Palace Road, Ripon

A crew from Ripon were requested by police to assist with an oil spill after a road traffic collision. Crews used environmental protection equipment to clear the scene and left the incident in the hands of police.

15:28 – A1237, Haxby

York’s crew were requested by police to assist with scene safety at a road traffic collision. Crews used crew power to remove the vehicles from the carriageway and left the incident with police.

15:54 – Gordon Street, Sutton in Craven

Stokesley’s crew were mobilised to an incident involving a potential house fire at a residential property. On crews arrival this was found to be a false alarm due to cooking fumes.

16:27 – Allen Close, York

A crew from York were requested by ambulance to assist with the extrication of a casualty from their property. Crew used crew power to get them into the road ambulance and left the incident in the hands of paramedics.
