Incident Summary – Night Shift, Saturday 3rd January
Time: 17.06 Location: Flixton, Scarborough
A crew from Scarborough responded to a report of a person who had fallen in the snow and was unable to get up. Crews lifted the person from the floor and left them in care of family while awaiting Ambulance.
Time: 18.13 Location: Fenton Lane, Sherburn in Elmet
Crews from Tadcaster and Garforth (West Yorkshire) responded to a report of a 2 vehicle road traffic collision. All occupants were out of their vehicles on arrival of the Fire Service awaiting assistance from Ambulance. Crews made the scene safe.
Time: 03.09 Location: Kelcbar Close, Tascaster
A crew from Tadcaster responded to a report of a smell of gas in a property. On arrival of the crew no smell of gas was found and this was a false alarm.
Time: 04.46 Location: Railway Street, Malton
A crew from Malton responded to a request for assistance made by Ambulance to help with extricating a casualty from the floor on the first floor of a premises downstairs and into an Ambulance.
Crews from Selby, Malton and Thirsk also attended reports of automatic fire alarm activations. These were found to be false alarms.
