Time: 08:21 Location: Ryders Wynd, Richmond
A crew from Richmond responded to a fire alarm activation in a residential property. After investigation this was confirmed to be caused by smoke from an electrical fault with a portable heater.
Time: 09:28 Location: Swan Hill Road, Scarborough
A crew from Scarborough attended a residential property to gain entry on request from a carer for a routine care visit due to the key safe being frozen. Access was gained using small tools and cutters and the resident was found safe and well and left in the hands of carers.
Time: 10:07 Location: Trans Walk, Church Fenton
A crew from Tadcaster responded to a child who was accidentally locked inside a car. Crews stood by whilst waiting for a person to arrive with a spare key incase forced entry was needed. A spare key arrived and the child was reunited unharmed with their parents.
Time: 11:45 Location: Weyland Road, Sherburn in Elmet
A crew from Tadcaster attended a residential property where two children were accidently stuck inside a room. Small tools were used to release the children who were safe and well and left in the care of family.

A crew from Bedale responded to a report of a barn fire. The fire was out on arrival of the crews and they dampened down the area using 1 hose reel jet.

A crew from Selby responded to a request from Ambulance to help with a extrication of a casualty. Crew power was used to move the casualty from a property to a road ambulance.
Time: 14:37 Location: Moat Way, Brayton
A crew from Selby responded to a property where a person was stuck in a lift. The crew used a lift key to release the person who was unharmed.
Time: 15:23 Location: Clark Street, Scarborough
A crew from Scarborough responded to a property where persons were stuck inside due to a large amount of snow blocking the exit. A neighbour had moved the snow before crews arrived and no fire service action was required.
Time: 16:21 Location: Firby
A crew from York responded to a residential property over reports of flooding inside the premises. At the time of publication this incident is ongoing.
Crews from Bedale, Harrogate(x2), Scarborough, Acomb, Tadcaster and Malton attended fire alarm activations. After investigation these were all confirmed to be false alarms.
