Incident Summary – Saturday 14th March 2026 – Night Shift
Time: 17.34 Location: Barrowcliff Road, Scarborough
A crew from Scarborough responded to a report of a fire in a garden. This was found to be a controlled burn with responsible person in attendance.
Time: 17.38 Location: Dikes Lane, Great Ayton
A crew from Cleveland Fire Service assisted with responding to a report of youths setting fires. After inspection no fire was found.
Time: 18.23 Location: West Avenue, Filey
A Crew from Scarborough responded to a report of an arial that was hanging dangerously from a chimney. Crews removed the aerial and left it in a safe location.
Time: 00.24 Location: Malton Road, Stockton on the Forest
Crews from York and Huntington responded to reports of fire to 03 vehicle outside a residential address. Crews extinguished the vehicles using 03 breathing apparatuses and 02 hose reel jets, fire Investigation is ongoing.
Time: 01.12 Location: Dalby Avenue, Harrogate
A Crew from Harrogate responded to a report of a fire in the garden of a property. This was found to be a controlled burn with the occupier in attendance.
Time: 02.29 Location: Bondgate, Ripon
A crew responded to a request for assistance by Ambulance crews to gain entry to a property due to concerns for the occupant. Crews gained entry through an unlocked door and left the occupant in hands of Ambulance crews.
Time: 04.06 Location: Queens Road, Harrogate
Two Crews from Harrogate responded to a report of a fire to a bin inside a property. On arrival of the crews the occupant had evacuated and the fire had been extinguished but the premises was very smoke logged. Crews used positive pressure ventilation to remove the smoke.
Time: 05.07 Location: Park Close, Easingwold
Crew from Easingwold responded to a request for assistance from Ambulance to extricate a casualty from a residential premises and into an Ambulance.
Time: 05.36 Location: Blenheim Street, Scarborough
A Crew from Scarborough responded to a report of flooding coming through the ceiling of a property from the flat above. Crews isolated the water and gave advice to the responsible person present.
Crews from York (x2), Hawes (x2), Scarborough, Harrogate, Tadcaster and Skipton responded to automatic fire alarm activations. After investigation these were found to be false alarms. Advice was given to responsible person present.
