Time: 08:40 Location: Main Street, Wheldrake
A crew from York responded to a hair dryer on fire at a residential property. The fire was out on arrival and the hair dryer was removed from the property. Crews assisted with ventilation and gave advice to the occupant.
Time: 09:50 Location: Seamer Road, Scarborough
A crew from Scarborough attended a car fire in a farm yard. Crews extinguished the fire using 1 hose reel jet and breathing apparatus.
Time: 11:14 Location: Broomfield Terrace, Whitby
A Whitby crew assisted paramedics with extricating a casualty from a residential flat. Crews used ambulance equipment to move the occupant from the basement to the ground floor, who then was transported to hospital via a road ambulance.
Time: 12:00 Location: Cover Bridge, East Witton
Crews from Masham and Bedale responded to a fire in a residential flat above a commercial property. Crews extinguished the fire using a roof ladder, triple extension ladder, hearth kit, thermal imaging camera, hose reel jet and small tools.

A crew from York responded to an automatic fire alarm sounding. This was a false alarm due to cooking fumes.

Crews from Harrogate responded to a single vehicle road traffic collision, involving a car the had rolled on its roof into a ditch. Crews rescued one occupant using cutting gear and small tools to remove the door and boot of the vehicle. The occupant was left in the hands of ambulance staff.

Harrogate and Knaresborough responded to a mini digger on fire outside an agricultural property. Crews used 2 hose reel jets and breathing apparatus to extinguish the fire.
Time: 16:05 Location: York Road, Tadcaster
A Tadcaster crew provided oxygen to a member of the public who was suffering a suspected heart attack. Crews monitored until arrival of ambulance.
Time: 16:34 Location: Foston
A Malton crews are currently in attendance at a van on fire near the village of Foston. Crews have extinguished the fire using a hose reel jet and breathing apparatus.
