Reeth’s appliance assisted with scene safety following a single vehicle road traffic collision which resulted in the vehicle leaking petrol. Crews used small tools to make scene safe and left the incident with a responsible person.
11:09 -Eldroth Road
Skipton’s crew were requested by police to assist with an incident involving a road traffic collision between three vehicles. Crews assisted with first aid using an IEC pack whilst awaiting the arrival of ambulance, small tools were used to make all vehicles safe. The incident was left with police and ambulance.
12:09 – Barrowcliffe Road, Scarborough
A crew from Scarborough were mobilised to an incident involving an automatic fire alarm sounding at a residential property, this was found to be a false alarm.
12:51 – Keld
Reeth responded to a report of smoke being sighted in the moorland area by Keld, this was a false alarm due to controlled burning taking place in the area.
13:31 – Haxby Road, York
York’s crew attended an incident involving a person trapped in a lift, crews freed the person using a lift key and the incident was left with a responsible person.
13:56 – Monkgate, York
York’s pump was mobilised to an automatic alarm sounding, this was found to be a false alarm due to being accidentally triggered due to dust.
15:04 – Foxwood Lane, York
Acomb’s crew responded to a fire in a playing field, on crews arrival, the fire was already extinguished. Crews conducted an inspection only.
15:27 – Quakers Lane, Richmond
Richmond’s appliance was mobilised to a small fire in the open. The fire was out on arrival of crews, an inspection was carried out.
