Time: 19:44     Location: Harrogate

Harrogate crews attended a domestic property following a report of an alarm activation. On arrival and following investigation, crew confirmed this to be a false alarm due to cooking fumes. Advice given.

Time: 20:14     Location: Skipwith, Selby area

Selby attended an area in the open to investigate a report of a fire. Crew found this to be an abandoned camp fire, smouldering. Backpack sprayers and tools used to extinguish.

Time: 20:18     Location: Whitby

Whitby attended a domestic street close to woodland to investigate a report of a fire in the open. This was confirmed to be controlled burning, under supervision. Advice given to responsible person in attendance.

Time: 20:36     Location: York

Acomb crew attended and extinguished a bonfire in a rear garden of domestic property. Fire extinguished due to size and proximity to property. Police also attended incident. Advice given to occupier.

Time:  22:44    Location: Del Pyke, York

Crews from York and Acomb were mobilised to a potential fire at a residential property. On crews arrival this was found to be a false alarm due to burnt food triggering the smoke alarm. Crews used a positive pressure ventilation fan to air out the property.

Time:  00:24    Location: Stuart Avenue, Richmond

Richmond’s appliance were requested by ambulance to assist with the difficult extrication of a patient from their property. Crew power and strops were used to transport them into the road ambulance where they were then taken to hospital.

Acomb’s crew responded to an automatic fire alarm activation at a residential property. After a thorough investigation, this was found to be a false alarm due to a fault on the system.

Huntington’s pump were mobilised to a residential property to assist with a person that had fallen inside. Crews used crew power to lift them back into a safe position and assess them for any injuries. The incident was left with responsible people on scene.

Time: 03:38      Location: Newborough, Scarborough

Scarborough’s TRV crew responded to reports of a wheelie bin on fire. Crews used one hose reel jet to extinguish and dampen down. The incident was left with police due to deliberate ignition.
