Time: 07:34 Location: Deighton Road, Kirk Deighton
A crew from Tadcaster responded to reports of smoke issuing from a car. This was a false alarm with good intent, smoke issuing was caused by coolant spraying on the hot engine. Crews used a thermal imaging camera to monitor the vehicle.
Time: 09:55 Location: Harrogate
A crew from Harrogate responded to a fire alarm activation inside a residential property. On arrival after investigation this was found to be a false alarm due to testing on the system.
Time: 10:19 Location: Lower Dunsforth
A crew from Ripon responded to a fire sighted in the open. On arrival this was found to be a controlled burn under supervision. Advice was given.

A crew from Northallerton responded to a two vehicle road traffic collision. All persons were out on arrival, crews completed scene safety and moved one of the vehicles to a safe location. The incident was left with the Police and recovery company.

A crew from Scarborough responded to a fire alarm activation inside a residential property. On arrival, after investigation this was found to be a false alarm.

Crews from Harrogate, Knaresborough, Wetherby, and Killingbeck (West Yorkshire) alongside Acomb and the ariel ladder platform, responded to reports of a fire measuring 15m by 7m to a general waste pile, within a warehouse measuring 30m by 15m. Site staff assisted by dispersing household waste using site machinary. Crews used two breathing apparatus, two hose reel jets, thermal imaging camera and three positive pressure ventilations.

A crew from Loftus (Cleveland) responded to reports of a road traffic collision, involving a motorcycle and a car. Crews carried out scene safety only.

A crew from Harrogate reported to smoke sighted from the train line. This was found to be a false alarm with good intent, caused by dust from working farm machinery.

A crew from Harrogate responded to reports of a stubble field on fire, measuring approximately 60m by 60m. The fire had been extinguished prior to fire service arrival, by the farmers. Crews damped down the area. The cause was accidental. Crews used two hose reel jets.

A crew from Selby responded to reports of a fire to trees in a garden. The fire spread to a large tree and area measuring 7m by 10m. Crews used one hose reel jet, a 45mm jet, a thermal imaging camera and respiratory protection. This incident is ongoing.

A crew from York responded to a request from ambulance to gain entry to a room within a property, on their behalf. Crews gained entry using a reciprocating saw and small tools, and left the incident in the care of the ambulance service.

A crew from Colburn responded to reports of a campfire in the woodland. Crews used knapsack sprayers to extinguish the fire, which was started deliberately.

A crew from Tadcaster responded to reports of a fire measuring 15m by 5m, which originated within the hedge line, then affected a derelict farm building. Crews used 2 hose reel jets, a thermal imaging camera and wildfire tools used. The fire caused less than 10% damage to the farm building. The cause was accidental.
