Incident Summary – 1st September – Night Shift

Time:   17:56          Location:  Colburn Lane, Colburn 

Richmond crew were mobilised to an automatic fire alarm sounding at a residential building. On arrival of crews was found to be a false alarm.

Time:     19:08        Location:  Sandy Lane, Sutton On The Forrest 

York crew were mobilised to reports of flooding due to a burst water main. Crews used 1 light portable pump to pump out excess water. Left in the hands of Yorkshire Water on scene.

Time:     19:59        Location:  Station Road, Threshfield 

Grassington crew were mobilised to a automatic fire alarm sounding in a residential property. On arrival was found to be a false alarm.

Time:      20:09       Location:  Elvington, York

Huntington crew were mobilised to a fire sighted in the open. This was found to be a controlled burn under supervision. No action taken from crews.

Time:      20:53       Location:  Toftings Lane, Birdsall 

Malton crew were mobilised to a fire sighted in the open. On arrival of crews was found to be a controlled burn under supervision and with means to extinguish.

Time:     21:33        Location:  North Park Road, Harrogate

Harrogate crew were mobilised to a person trapped in a bathroom. Crews used small tool sand pack-x to remove bathroom door to release occupant.

Time:  22:01           Location:  Allenby Road, Catterick

Richmond crew were mobilised to a fire in the open. This was one wheelie bin on fire that was out on arrival of fire crews. Crews used 1 hose reel jet to dampen down. m

Time: 04:27             Location:  Keldholme

Crews from Malton and Helmsley attended a fire to a shed measuring 10 x 20 metres of breeze block construction. Crews used 1 hose reel jet and a main jet to extinguish and dampen down the fire. Crews remain on scene.
