Time: 0858 Location: Harrogate
Harrogate crew attended an automatic fire alarm activation. On arrival and following investigation, crew confirmed this to be a false alarm.
Time: 0939 Location: A59, area of Blubberhouses
Crews from Harrogate, Skipton and Ripon responded to a fire in the open. Crews worked to extinguish several areas smouldering. Hose reels, various small tools and backpack sprayers used to extinguish.
Time: 1007 Location: Kirkbymoorside
Crews attended and extinguished a fire involving an electrical appliance. The appliance had been removed from a domestic property on arrival of fire crews. Crews also carried out an inspection inside the property and gave advice.
Time: 1100 Location: Great Ayton
Northallerton crew responded to a fire in the open. Crews created a fire break and used various tools to extinguish the fire.
Time: 1142 Location: Harrogate
Crew attended and extinguished a fire in the open which involved a campfire, left unattended. Backpack sprayers and small tools used to extinguish. Police also informed of incident.
Time: 1149 Location: Boroughbridge Road, York
Acomb crew attended a single vehicle road traffic collision. Crews provided general first aid to one casualty. Incident then left with Police.
Time: 1153 Location: Selby Road, Eggborough
Selby crew attended and released one person stuck in a public toilet due to a defective lift. Various small tools used to access and release. Person safe and well, no injuries.
Time: 1339 Location: Westborough, Scarborough
Scarborough crews attended the area following a report of smoke sighted. Crews carried out a thorough investigation of the area but found no fire or smoke, confirmed to be a false alarm.
Time: 1424 Location: Ripon area
Ripon and Bedale crews attended and extinguished a fire in a garden which had spread to the exterior of a domestic property. All persons out and to a safe area away from the fire.
Time: 1520 Location: North Rigton
Harrogate crew attended to investigate a report of a fire involving a tyre on a vehicle, which was believed to be extinguished but could not be confirmed. On their arrival, the crew confirmed the fire to be out. Checks carried out and advice given to responsible person.
Time: 1605 Location: York
York and Acomb attended an automatic fire alarm activation. On arrival and following investigation, crew confirmed this to be a false alarm due to a malicious activation. Crew gave advice to staff members.
Time: 1620 Location: Selby
Selby crew attended and extinguished a small fire in the open. One hose reel jet used to extinguish.
