Time: 07:22      Location: Malton

Malton responded to a two vehicle road traffic collision with reports of engine fluid on the road. No persons were trapped and out on arrival.

Time: 09:28    Location: Green Lane, Newby

A crew from Scarborough responded to reports of a fire in a garden. The fire was a burn which had been deemed out of control. Crews used a hose reel jet to extinguish.

Time: 09:34    Location: St Marys Walk, Harrogate

A crew from Harrogate responded to reports of a fire alarm sounding in a residential premises. This was a false alarm caused by insects in the detector head.

Time: 10:03     Location: Hackness, Scarborough

A crew from Scarborough responded to reports of a fire in undergrowth measuring approximately 3m by 8m. Crews extinguished and damped down, by applying approximately 10000 litres of water. Crews used a hose reel jet, a length of 45mm hose with connecting branch,  a thermal imaging camera and a light portable pump to deal with the incident. The cause is believed to be accidental.

A crew from Selby responded to reports of a single vehicle road traffic collision, where a car had collided with a telegraph pole. The driver of the vehicle was out on arrival and uninjured. Crews checked them over and monitored the temperature of the vehicle battery with a thermal imaging camera.

A crew from York responded to reports of a fire alarm sounding in a residential premises. This was a false alarm caused by testing of the system.

Time: 12:58      Location: Tadcaster Road, Dringhouses

A crew from Acomb responded to reports of a fire alarm sounding in a residential premises. This was a false alarm caused by dust in the detector head.

Time: 14:37      Location: Camela Lane, Barlow

A crew from Selby responded to reports of a fire to a hedge. This had spread from a controlled burn. Crews used a hose reel jet to extinguish.

Time: 14:37      Location: Burstall Drive, Catterick Garrison

A crew from Northallerton, who were stood by at Richmond, responded to reports of a burst pipe which flooded the downstairs of a property. Crews gave advice and inspected only as a local plumber arrived at the same time.

A crew from Whitby used small tools to release a cat from behind a kitchen unit, which had become stuck behind it.

Time:  15:21     Location: Chapel Street, Grassington

Crews from Grassington and Skipton responded to reports of a chip pan fire in a block of flats. The fire was out on arrival. Crews ventilated and inspected only.

Time: 15:50      Location: Kingston Drive, Norton

A crew from Malton responded to reports of a person who had fallen within their property, uninjured. Crews assisted the person back to their chair, using a casualty drag sheet.

Time: 16:28      Location: Peasholm Bridge, Scarborough

A crew from Scarborough responded to reports of a fire in the open. Crews investigated but found no sign of fire.
