Time:  08:05  Location: A59 Dangerous Crossroads

A crew from Harrogate responded to reports of a 2 vehicle road traffic collision. Both vehicles had come to rest on all 4 wheels, and both drivers were out of the vehicle and uninjured. No action was required by the fire service.

Time: 11:24   Location: Park Road, Pateley Bridge

A crew from Summerbridge responded to reports of a fire alarm sounding in a residential building. This was a false alarm caused by insects within the detector.

Time: 11:27    Location: Larpool Lane, Whitby

A crew from Whitby responded to reports of a fire alarm sounding in a residential building. This was a false alarm caused by a fault on the system

Time:  11:41  Location: Esplanade, Scarborough

Crews from Scarborough and Whitby responded to reports of a fire in a building, with persons believed to be inside. A crew inspected and found is to be a campfire in the open.

Time:  11:53  Location: Daleside Road, Rosedale Abbey

A crew from Kirkbymoorside responded to a request from police to gain entry to a property on behalf of ambulance service. Crews gained entry via a first floor window and found the property unoccupied.

A crew from Richmond responded to reports of a fire alarm sounding. This was a false alarm, caused by insects.

A crew from Acomb responded to a request from ambulance to assist with the extrication of a patient from their home to the awaiting road ambulance, for onward transportation to hospital. Crews used crew power only.

Time:  15:19 Location: Colne & Broughton Road, Thornton in Craven

A crew from Skipton responded to reports of a person who had fallen in their backyard. Crews assisted the casualty back into the house.
