Incident Summary – Thursday 16th April – Day Shift
Time: 08:38 Location: Fulford, York
A crew from York responded to a small electrical fire in an underground electrical unit which had caused a hole in the steel capping on the ground above. The unit was smouldering on arrival of crews and they cordoned off the area and stood by with fire fighting equipment awaiting the arrival of an electrical engineer. The incident was then handed over to an electrical company.

A crew from Tadcaster attended a two vehicle road traffic collision. All persons were out on arrival and crews assisted in moving the vehicle and clearing debris from the carriageway.
Time: 11:12 Location: Sneatonthorpe, Whitby
A crew from Whitby responded to a request from the Ambulance service to help extricate a casualty. Crew power was used to move the casualty to a road ambulance.
Time: 12:16 Location: Cawood
A crew from Selby responded to a report of a fire in the open. This was found to be a small camp fire and was extinguished.
Time: 12:33 Location: West Avenue, Filey
A crew from Filey responded to a fire alarm activation in a residential property. On arrival after investigation this was confirmed to be a false alarm due to the system being tested.
Time: 12:51 Location: Eggborough
A crew from Selby responded to a report of smoke sighted in the open. This was found to be a controlled burn under supervision and advice was given. The crew re-attended this at 13:59 after a further report and it was confirmed it was still controlled.
