Time: 08:01  Location: Pier Road, Whitby

Whitby responded to reports of fire sighted from a property. Crews went to inspect the source of the smoke and found this to be controlled burning under supervision. Advice given.

Time: 11:14  Location: Dodsworth Avenue, York

York responded to a smoke alarm activating inside a residential building. After inspection, crews confirmed no signs of smoke and fire making it a false alarm. Crews gave advice.

Time:  11:19  Location: A63, South Milford

Tadcaster and Selby responded to a single vehicle road traffic collision. One vehicle had come off the road becoming stuck in the undergrowth. The occupant was out on arrival and in the care of paramedics. Crews provided scene safety and disconnected the battery to the vehicle using small tools. The incident was left with police.

Time: 12:01  Location: Eastholme Drive, York

An officer responded to a report of two pigeons stuck behind an electric fire place. The officer released two uninjured pigeons from the fire place.

Time: 12:19   Location: Cayton, Scarborough 

Crews from Scarborough, alongside a specialist incident support unit from Tadcaster responded to reports of a single vehicle road traffic collision where a car had impacted a building. No action was required with the vehicle. Crews assesd the casualty before they were left in the hands of paramedics.

Time: 12:21  Location: Springfield View, Pickering 

Crews from Kirkbymoorside and Malton responded to reports of a fire alarm activation and light smoke logging in the communal area of a block of flats. Crews investigated and confirmed the incident to be a false alarm, with the cause to be cooking fumes. Crews ventilated the property naturally.

Time: 14:45  Location: Station Road, Richmond

Richmond responded to an activated fire alarm inside a residential building. After inspection, this was confirmed as false alarm due to workers on site. Crews gave advice to the responsible person.
