Time: 07:11  Location: Ribble Way, Giggleswick 

Crew from Harrogate responded to flooding within a residential premises. Water and electrics had been isolated prior to fire service arrival. Crews assisted within ensuring the premises was safe and advice given.

Time: 08:30  Location: Scholars Rise, High Bentham

Crew from Bentham attended a report of a automatic fire alarm with an residential premises. This was confirmed to be a false alarm caused by cooking fumes.

Time: 13:00  Location: Scalm Lane, Cawood

A crew from Selby responded to a report of a campfire that had been left smouldering and unattended. Two knapsack sprayers used to extinguish and hotspot area dug out by crews.

Time: 13:07  Location: Orchard Close, Summerbridge

Crews from Harrogate and Summerbridge attended a chimney fire at a residential property. Fire was out on arrival, crews used a thermal imaging camera to check for further hotspots.

Time: 13:34   Location: Water Lane, York

A crew from Acomb responded to a fire sighted in the open, crews carried out a search of the area and located 2 small fires. Crews extinguished the fires and dampened the areas down.

Time: 15:03  Location: Coalmire Lane, Osmotherley

Northallerton crew responded to a fire that had been set in the open. Crews attended but were unable to locate the incident.

Time: 15:15  Location: Main Street, Middleton

A crew from Kirkbymoorside responded to a fire sighted in the open. This was confirmed to be a controlled burn with responsible persons in attendance. Advice given.

Time: 15:25   Location: Deighton Road, Kirk Denton

Crews from Tadcaster, Knaresborough and over the border appliance Wetherby responded to a report of a 7 vehicle road traffic collision with vehicles smoking. One vehicle involved was an electric vehicle, crews used a thermal imaging camera to check for hotspots and confirmed the vehicle was not in thermal runaway. Crews assisted with making the scene safe and incident left with Police.

Time: 15:26   Location: North Road, Ripon

A crew from Ripon responded to a report of a sinkhole near to a residential property. Crews confirmed a sink hole measuring 5m x 5m and a depth of about 2m. Crews evacuated nearby residents and isolated the utilities to the affected property. Advice given to a responsible person with crews arranged to revisit tomorrow.

Crews from Richmond and Reeth responded to a report of an automatic fire alarm within a residential property. This was confirmed to be a false alarm caused by cooking fumes.
