Incident Summary – Friday 5th June Night Shift

Time: 18:51   Location: Harrogate

Crew from Harrogate assisted at a premises with flooding in the kitchen following a leak. Water was isolated prior to arrival. Crews assisted with salvage of property.

Time: 20:42  Location: Hawsker, Whitby

Crew from Robin Hoods Bay responded to reports of a fire in undergrowth at the side of a road. Crew located a small fire measuring approx 2 x 2 metres. They extinguished and dampened down using 1 hose reel jet.

Crew from Scarborough were mobilised to a 2 vehicle road traffic collision. On arrival all occupants were out of their vehicles. Crew carried out scene safety only.

Crew from Scarborough used ring cutters to remove a ring from the finger of a person who self presented at the station.

Crew from Scarborough responded to reports of a fire in a a park. Crew located a bin on fire and used buckets of water to extinguish.
