Incident Summary – Day shift, Sunday 21st June
Time: 0935 Location: Cliffe
Selby and Tadcaster crews attended the area after a report of a dog stuck in a ditch. Crew located dog stuck in mud under a small bridge. Crews used rescue equipment to reach and safely bring the dog up to hard ground and back into care of owner.
Time: 1109 Location: Strensall
York crew gained entry to a domestic property to access elderly occupier fallen inside. Crews administered general first aid until arrival of ambulance paramedics.
Time: 1206 Location: A65, B6480 Junction, Settle area
Skipton crew extinguished a fire in the open consisting of wood located at road side. One hose reel jet used to extinguish.
Time: 1341 Location: Coggan Close, York
York crew attended an automatic fire alarm activation. On arrival and following investigation, crew confirmed this to be a false alarm due to a fault on the system.
Time: 1414 Location: Hookstone Drive, Harrogate
Harrogate crew attended the area following a report of a small fire in the open. Crew located the fire and extinguished.
Time: 1437 Location: St Nicholas Street, Scarborough
Scarborough crew attended the area following a report of a bin fire. On arrival, crew confirmed the fire to be out. Inspection only.

Richmond crew attended following a report of a small fire in the area. On arrival, crew confirmed this to be a small camp fire, left unattended. Crew used a backpack sprayer to dampen down the area.

Knaresborough crew attended an automatic fire alarm activation. On arrival and following investigation, crew confirmed this to be a false alarm due to cooking fumes.

Stokesley crew attended a domestic property after a call was received advising of a smoke alarm sounding. Crew confirmed this to be a false alarm due to a fault in the detector. Crew fitted a new smoke alarm and carried out a home fire safety visit, giving advice.

York crew attended an automatic fire alarm activation. On arrival and following investigation, crew confirmed this to be a false alarm.
