Incident Summary – Night shift, Wednesday 1st July
Time: 17:04 Location: Great Ayton area
Crews from Stokesley, Northallerton, Kirkbymoorside and Coulby Newham (Cleveland) attended a large fire in the open. Tadcaster crew were also called to attend with a water bowser vehicle to provide additional water to the fire ground.
Time: 17:18 Location: Earby, Lancashire
Skipton were sent to assist a Lancashire crew at an ambulance incident where a patient required lifting. Crew power used to assist. Incident left with Ambulance and Lancashire crew.
Time: 18:55 Location: Valley Drive, Harrogate
Harrogate attended the area following a report of a fire in the open. Crew confirmed fire to be out on their arrival, bucket of water used by fire service to further dampen the area.

York’s pump were mobilised to an automatic fire alarm sounding at a property, this was found to be a false alarm.
Time: 20:09 Location: A19 Northbound just before Crathorne exit.
Crew from Thirsk, Yarm and Thornaby responded to assist with a two vehicle road traffic collision. One vehicle had rolled over several times and crews extricated the driver. The second vehicle occupants were not trapped. All casualties involved were taken to Hospital by road Ambulance. Crews used cutting equipment and spinal board at the scene.

Harrogate crews were mobilised to a two vehicle road traffic collision with one person trapped. Crews used cutting gear to extricate the casualty. they were transported to Hospital by road Ambulance
Time: 21:07 Location: East Terrace Whitby
Whitby crews responded to assist Police with a casualty that fallen off their scooter and had a potential fracture. Crew assisted Ambulance with lifting casualty from ground into Ambulance.

Reeth crews were mobilised to investigate reports of smoke sighted. Crews confirmed a small fire involving hay and used a hose reel to extinguish

Knaresborough crews investigated reports of smoke sighted in woodland. Crew confirmed this was a controlled burn in a rear garden of property and was under control.
Time: 01:44 Location: Redwood Drive, Haxby
York’s appliance was mobilised to assist a person that was trapped inside a stair lift in their home. Crew power was used to release them uninjured and advice was given.
