Incident Summary – 14th July 2026 – Day Shift
08:30 – Huffa Lane, Bolton Abbey
Skipton’s appliance was mobilised to a residential property with an automatic fire alarm sounding, this was found to be a false alarm due to a system test.
10:44 – Railway Cottages, Carlton Miniott
Thirsk’s crew were requested by ambulance to assist with the difficult extrication of a patient from their home. Crews used crew power to assist the casualty into the road ambulance and the incident was left with paramedics.
13:33 – Manor Road, Scarborough
A crew from Scarborough attended a residential property with an automatic fire alarm sounding, after a search of the property, this was found to be a false alarm due to engineers working on the system.
14:31 – Kiplin
Richmond’s crew were requested by ambulance to assist with a vehicle leaking fuel following a two vehicle road traffic collision. Crews stood by awaiting further instruction, however no action was taken by crews. The incident was left with police.
14:41 – Southgate, Scarborough
Scarborough’s TRV crew were mobilised to an incident involving a vulnerable person that had become locked outside their home. Crews used a hooligan tool to gain entry and the incident was left with the home owner.
