Time: 09:42  Location: Greenfield Drive, Barlby

A crew from Selby responded to a fire alarm activation inside a residential property. On arrival after investigation this was found to be a false alarm.

Time: 10:21  Location: Harrogate

A crew from Harrogate responded to a fire alarm activation. On arrival this was confirmed to be a false alarm due to testing on the system.

Time: 14:36  Location: York

A crew from Acomb responded to a fire alarm activation inside a residential property. On arrival this was found to be a false alarm due to cooking fumes.

Time: 16:09  Location: Abbey Street, York

A crew from Acomb responded to a request for assistance from the Ambulance service to gain entry to a residential property after the occupant had fallen inside. Crews gained entry using a door enforcer and the casualty was left in the care of ambulance crews.

Time: 16:15  Location: Askham Richard, York

A crew from Tadcaster responded to a person that had accidentally become locked inside a room in their property due to the failure of a door handle. Small tools were used to gain access and release the person.

Time: 16:19  Location: Tennent Road, York

Crews from York and Acomb responded to a residential property where a candle had set alight to a decorative flower. The fire was out on arrival and the items had been removed from the property. Crews used a bucket of water to dampen down.

Time: 16:39  Location: A19 Ellerbeck

Crews responded to a report of a van fire on the A19. This was found to be a false alarm due to a vehicle will a blown out tyre. The incident was left awaiting recovery.
