Time: 17:27     Location: Upper Price Street, York

York crew responded to a small fire sighted in the open. Crews confirmed a small fire in a wheelbarrow was under supervision, however, the responsible person extinguished the fire using buckets of water

Time: 18:05     Location: Crag Lane, North Rigton

Harrogate crew responded to investigate a report of a bonfire left unattended. Crew confirmed fire consisted of wood cuttings and trees. Crew used a hose reel to extinguish the fire.

Time: 18:08     Location: A64 East Bound between Fulford and Grimstone Lodge.

York, Acomb and Huntington crews responded to a van on fire. Incident involved a van carrying very small lithium batteries that set alight. Crew used hose reels and breathing apparatus to extinguish the fire.

Time: 18:12      Location: St Nicholas Fields, York

Tadcaster crew attended a small fire involving a tree stump. The cause is believed to be accidental. Crew used knapsack sprayers and buckets of water.

Time: 18:22      Location: A1 southbound between the Spur and Barton.

Richmond, Darlington and Newton Aycliffe crew attended a multiple vehicle road traffic collision. Crews made scene safe and assisted Police and Ambulance at the scene.

Time: 18:53     Location: Hollins Lane, Hampsthwaite

Harrogate crew attended a small fire involving a toaster in a domestic property. Toaster had been unplugged and moved outside on arrival of crew. Advice given to occupants.

Time: 19:23     Location: Malpas Road, Northallerton

Northallerton crew assisted Ambulance Service to gain entry to a property due to concerns for the occupier. Crew used a 9m ladder to gain access. Resident was then treated by Ambulance Service.

Time: 21:24     Location: Belbrough Lane, Hutton Rudby

Crews from Stokesley and Yarm responded to a single vehicle road traffic collision. Crews assisted police with checking over the vehicle and the incident was left with police awaiting recovery.

Time:  22:52    Location: Cavendish Street, Skipton

Both crews from Skipton were mobilised to a potential property fire, on the arrival of crews this was found to be a false alarm due to cooking fumes. Crews gave advice to the occupier.

Various automatic fire alarms activated and were investigated by crews from Ripon, Acomb and Summerbridge. All alarms were confirmed to be false alarms.
