Incident Summary – Wednesday 7th October 2026 – Day Shift

Time: 10.15     Location: North Stainley 

Ripon crews responded to reports of smoke sighted. On arrival this was found to be a controlled burn under supervision. Advice was given to the responsible person present.

Time: 13.55     Location: Leeman Road, York 

Crews from York were mobilised to assist paramedics extricate a casualty, crews used ambulance equipment to assist safely extricate the casualty to the ambulance.

Time: 13.57     Location: Park Lane, Spofforth 

Harrogate crew responded to a small tractor on fire, crews used one hose reel jet and a breathing apparatus to extinguish the fire.

Time: 14.17     Location: Selby 

Selby crew responded to assist paramedics extricate a casualty. On arrival the ambulance stood the fire service down and no action was required.
