A crew from Bentham responded to a report of an alarm activation in a residential property. This was a false alarm due to dust in the detector head.

Crews from Acomb and York responded to a report of a burning smell in a commercial property. Crews carried out a thorough investigation and a full thermal scan and found no sign of fire. Advice was given to a responsible person.

A crew from Knaresborough responded to a report of a vehicle fire. On arrival, crews found this to be a false alarm due to a blown turbo. Crews gave advice to the occupant and left the incident with the police awaiting recovery.
