Time: 17:37  Location: Ellerbeck Way, Stokesley 

A crew from Stokesley responded to a report of smoke seen coming from the roof of a commercial property. On arrival crews found this to be a false alarm due to a smoke cloak that had been activated in the property.

Time: 18:05  Location: Town Head, Settle 

A crew from Skipton responded to a report of an alarm activation in a residential property. Crews found this to be caused by a fire to 2 chopping boards that had been left on top of a hob. The fire was out on arrival with damage confined to the hob top and chopping boards. Crews naturally ventilated the property and gave advice to the occupier.

A crew from Selby responded to a request from ambulance crews to assist with lifting a casualty from their residential property into the awaiting ambulance.

Time: 20:23  Location: Gristhorpe, Filey 

Crews from Scarborough and Filey responded to a report of a telegraph pole that had been struck by lightning resulting in a power surge that affected a number of properties causing electrical sockets to blow and a loss of power. Crews carried out house to house checks for signs of fire and giving advice to residents. The incident was left with electricity board engineers.

A crew from York responded to a report of a fire to a swing in a play area. The fire was out on the arrival of crews who dampened down the area using buckets of water.

Time: 22:26  Location: Daisy Way, Knaresborough

Crews from Knaresborough and Harrogate responded to a report of smoke in a residential property and alarms sounding. Crews extinguished fire in premises using 1 hose reel, 2 breathing apparatus and thermal imaging camera.

Time: 23:12  Location: Hungate, Pickering 

A crew from Kirkbymoorside responded to a report of an alarm activation in a commercial property. This was a false alarm due to engineers working on the system.

Time: 23:33  Location: Quaker Close, Reeth

A crew from Reeth responded to a report of an alarm activation in a residential property. This was a false alarm due to vaping.

Time: 05:21  Location: York Road, Goldsborough

Crew from Knaresborough attended a report of an automatic fire alarm, this was confirmed to be a false alarm caused by an accidental activartion.
