08:19 – Rudding Lane, Follifoot

Crews from Harrogate were mobilised to assist ambulance with a difficult extrication of a patient. Crews used crew power to carry the casualty into the road ambulance where they were then transported to hospital.

11:28 – Elm Grove, Robin Hood’s Bay

Whitby’s crew attended an incident involving roof tiles falling from a residential property onto the road below. Crews made contact with the property owner to arrange a specialist to attended and cordoned off the area using tape and signage.

11:59 – Moat Way, Brayton

Selby’s crew were mobilised to an incident involving persons trapped in a lift car. Crews used a lift key and crew power to free them.

13:46 – Church Square, Harrogate

One of Harrogate’s crews were mobilised to an incident involving persons trapped in a lift car. On crews arrival this was found to be a false alarm due to no one being in the lift.

14:04 – Youngs Yard, Richmond

Richmond’s crew attended a residential fire in a block of flats. Crews used 2 breathing apparatus’, 1 hose reel jet, 1 thermal imaging camera and a positive pressure ventilation fan to extinguish the fire.

15:28 – Thorpe Willoughby

Crews from Selby attended a commercial building with an automatic fire alarm sounding. After a full inspection this was found to be a false alarm due to dust in the detector head.

16:09 – Station Road, Carlton

Selby’s crew were requested by ambulance to assist with a road traffic collision involving multiple vehicles. all casualties were out on arrival of crews and in the care of paramedics. This incident is ongoing.

16:30 – Bishop Thornton

Harrogate’s crews were mobilised to a vehicle fire outside a residential property. Crews used 2 breathing apparatus and 2 hose reel jets to extinguish the fire.
