Incident Summary – Dayshift, 30th January 2026

Time: 11:25 Location: Hipswell Road, Richmond

Richmond assisted ambulance crews with the difficult extrication of a patient from inside their home to the waiting road ambulance outside. Crew power used only.

Time: 13:32 Location: Escrick, A19

Selby crew assisted ambulance with the extrication of a casualty from the first floor of a property. Crews used a drag sheet and crew power to move the casualty to the road ambulance for transport to hospital.

Time: 15:41  Location: Esplande Road, Scarborough

A crew from Scarborough released a person trapped inside a lift of a residential building. Small tools were used to release the person from the lift and an engineer was requested to inspect the lift before further use.

Time: 15:42  Location: Loos Road, Colburn

Richmond responded to an unoccupied vehicle that was leaking fuel. Crews used an environmental pack to soak up the leaked fuel and police were made aware.

 

Crews from Skipton, Filey, Acomb and Leyburn responded to an activated fire alarm. After inspection, these were confirmed as false alarms.
