Incident Summary – Day shift, Monday 2nd February
Time: 0850 Location: Longwood Bank, Richmond
Richmond crew attended a single vehicle road traffic collision. One male driver out of vehicle on arrival of Fire and Rescue crews. Male treated on scene with general first aid by Fire and Rescue crew until arrival of Ambulance paramedics, who then took over care of male. General scene safety carried out by Fire and Rescue. Incident then left with Police.
Time: 1058 Location: Kimberlow Rise, York
York crew attended a single vehicle road traffic collision. On arrival, crew confirmed no persons trapped, occupants out of vehicle to safety. General scene safety carried out by crew and incident left with Police.
Time: 1225 Location: A64 Grimston Lodge area
York and Huntington crews attended the area following a report of smoke issuing from a vehicle. On arrival, crew confirmed this to be a false alarm due to a fault on the exhaust. Advice given and incident left with vehicle owner who was organising recovery.
Time: 1334 Location: Cornwall Road, Harrogate
Both crews from Harrogate attended a domestic property following a report of smoke inside. Crews confirmed a small fire had occurred, but was out on their arrival. A thermal image camera was used to check for any hot spots and advice was given to the occupier.
Time: 1352 Location: Filey
Filey crew attended an automatic fire alarm activation at a residential property. On arrival and following investigation, crew confirmed this to be a false alarm due to dust from works personnel.
Time: 1503 Location: Sherburn in Elmet
Tadcaster crew attended an alarm activation at a domestic property. On arrival and following investigation, crew confirmed this to be a false alarm due to a faulty detector. Advice given.

Local crews attended an alarm activation at a domestic property. On arrival and following investigation, crews confirmed this to be a false alarm due to a fault on the system.

Scarborough crews attended a commercial building following a report of two persons stuck in a lift. On arrival, crew used lift keys to safely release persons from inside.
