Time: 20.24 Location: Fern Close, York
Crew from York responded to a request from Ambulance to assist with extrication of a casualty into an awaiting Ambulance.
Time: 21.20 Location: Dacre, Summerbridge
Crew from Summerbridge responded to a request from Ambulance to assist with a difficult extrication of a casualty.
Time: 22:05 Location: The Village, Strensall
Huntington crew attended a report of a bench on fire, on arrival it was the bus shelter that had been set alight. Fire was out on arrival, cause was deliberate believed to be by youths. Incident left with Police.
Time: 22:25 Location: Church Lane, Settrington
Malton crew attended to a wheelie bin on fire. x1 hose reel jet used to extinguish the fire. Thermal imaging camera used for the surrounding area, cause is unknown.
Time: 00:21 Location: York Road, Malton
Crew from Malton attended to a report of a large amount of smoke seen from the roadside. A pallet was found well alight with no persons present. This was extinguished using 1x hose reel jet.
Time: 02:28 Location: York Fire Station
A member of public presented at the fire station with a ring stuck on their finger. Cutting tool used to remove.
Crews from Knaresborough and Acomb also attended automatic fire alarm activations. After investigations these were found to be false alarms.
