A crew from Scarborough responded to a report of a chimney on fire. Crews used triple extension ladders, roof ladders and a hose reel jet to extinguish the fire which was believed to have been caused by a bird nesting in the chimney.

Thirsk’s crew were mobilised to an incident involving a person locked inside an industrial yard, crews were able to put the electric gate into manual in order to free the person.

York crew attended an unstable chimney, crews used a 09 metre ladder to access the loose material and removed it from the chimney stack, advice was given to the occupant to contact a responsible person to complete the repair.

A crew from Scarborough responded to a fire alarm activation with no response, on crew arrival this was found to be a false alarm with the cause being due to cooking fumes.

Malton crew responded to an automatic fire alarm sounding, on arrival the cause was due to testing of systems, advice was given to the responsible people and the alarm was reset.

Bentham Crew responded to an automatic fire alarm sounding with no response, after investigating crews found the cause was cooking fumes, advice was given to the responsible person present.

A crew from Acomb attended flooding in a premises, crews isolated the water and gave advice to the responsible people present.

A crew from Harrogate responded to assist paramedics gain entry to a property, crews used small tools to gain entry and assisted paramedics with the patient inside.
Time: 13.12 Location: Scarborough Road, Norton
Malton, Pickering and York crews responded to a fire in a residential property, everyone was out of the property on crew arrival. Crews rapidly deployed four breathing apparatuses and two hose reel jets to extinguish the fire, as well as used two positive pressure ventilation fans to assist ventilate the property, fire is believed accidental.

Selby crews responded to a single vehicle road traffic collision, all the occupants were out of the vehicle on crew arrival, crews made the vehicle safe and administered first aid for minor injuries. Crews left the scene with police and ambulance on scene.

Selby and Acomb crews attended a two vehicle road traffic collision, crews used spreaders to make the vehicle safe and small tools to isolate both vehicles batteries. Crews left the scene with police and ambulance.
