Incident Summary – Monday 16th February 2026 – Night Shift

Time: 19:15  Location: Masongill, Ingleton

A Crew from Bentham responded to a report of several bins on fire. The fire was out on arrival and crews used one hose reel jet to dampen down.

Time: 19:47  Location: Turker Lane, Northallerton

A crew from Northallerton responded to a request from the Ambulance service to gain entry to a property over concerns for the occupier. On arrival a door into the property was open and no fire service action was required.

Time: 20:34  Location: Whitefield Lane, Whitley

A crew from Selby responded to reports of a vehicle on fire. The vehicle was well alight and crews used one hose reel jet and one breathing apparatus to extinguish.

Time: 01:04 Location: Woodgate, Scarborough 

A crew from Scarborough assisted ambulance crews with the difficult extrication of an occupant from inside their property to the awaiting road ambulance outside. Crew power used only.

Crews from Scarborough (x2), York, Acomb and Harrogate attended fire alarm activations. On arrival, after investigation these were all confirmed to be false alarms.
