Incident Summary – Wednesday 4th March 2026 – Day Shift

Time:  10.13     Location:  A629, Cononley 

Crews from Skipton and Keighley responded to a report of a road traffic collision involving 3 vehicles. Crews released one person from a vehicle using cutting gear and left them in the hands of Ambulance Crews.

Time: 11.14      Location: Richmond

Richmond crews responded to an automatic fire alarm sounding at a premises, on arrival they found the cause to be due to testing the system. No further fire action was required.

Time: 12.46      Location: Kearsley Road, Ripon

A crew from Ripon responded to an alarm sounding at a premises, crews used a triple extension ladder to access where the alarm was sounding and a thermal imaging camera to investigate, no fire found, the cause is believed to be a faulty detector head, advice was given to the responsible people present.

Time: 16.22      Location: Cod Beck Reservoir 

Northallerton crews went to investigate lots of smoke sighted, on arrival crews could confirm there was no fire and the call was a false alarm. No further fire action was necessary.
