08:12 Pannett Way, Whitby
A crew from Whitby responded to a report of an alarm activation in a residential property. This was a false alarm due to a fault on the system.
09:38 High Street, Spofforth
Crews from Harrogate responded to a report of smoke in the kitchen of a residential property. On arrival crews found a fire to a cardboard box that had been left on top of an electric hob that had accidentally been turned on. Crews extinguished the fire and ventilated the property. The fire resulted in fire damage to the cooker and and smoke damage to the kitchen.
10:13 Newburgh Park, Coxwold
Crews from Helmsley and Thirsk responded to a report of a 2 vehicle road traffic collision. On arrival, all occupants were out of the vehicles and uninjured. Crews made the scene safe and moved one of the vehicles out of the road way. The incident was left with police and highways agency.
13:01 Showfield Lane, Malton
Crews from Malton attended an automatic fire alarm in a commercial property, this was a false alarm due to the premises testing.
16:37 Gargrave Road, Skipton
A crew from Skipton responded to a report of a fire seen in the open. Crews found this to be controlled burning under supervision. Advice was given to a responsible person.
