A crew from Acomb responded to a request from police to assist with gaining entry for a welfare check on an occupant, where there was a smell of gas. Crews made contact with occupant who was safe and well. The smell of gas was due to a boiler flue.
Time: 12:42 Location: Penn Road, Richmond
Crews from Richmond and Reeth responded to reports of a fire to a pan in the kitchen of a bungalow. The fire was out on arrival. Crews ventilated only.
Time: 13:28 Location: Hutton Bank, Sharow
A crew from Ripon responded to reports of a fire in a garden out of control, measuring approximately 6m by 10m. Crews used one hose reel jet to extinguish.
Time: 13:30 Location: Moor Lane, East Ayton, Scarborough
A crew from Scarborough responded to reports of a fire in the open. This was controlled burning under supervision.
Time: 13:50 Location: Monkgate, York
A crew from York responded to reports of a child with their head stuck in a chair. Crews released the child unharmed using crewpower.
Time: 13:54 Location: Vine Street, Norton
Crews from Malton and Scarborough responded to reports of a fire caused by an overloaded fuse in an electrical socket. The fire caused damage to the fire plug and the wall socket surface plate. Crews investigated with a thermal imaging camera.

A crew from Kirkbymoorside responded to reports of a fire in the open. Crews confirmed this was a false alarm and was controlled burning.

A crew from Scarborough responded to reports of a single vehicle road traffic collision where a vehicle had impacted a wall.
Crews from Scarborough and Filey also responded to activated fire alarms. These were all confirmed as false alarms.
