08:02    Selby 

Crews from Selby assisted ambulance crews in gaining entry into a property to assist the occupier.  Crews gained access through a window.

10:01  Skutterskelf 

Crews from Stokesley attended an automatic fire alarm sounding in a property, this was a false alarm due to burnt toast activating the alarm.

10:53  The Village, Haxby

Crews from York attended an automatic fire alarm sounding in a property, this was a false alarm due to overheated food in a microwave.

10:55  Bilton Lane, Harrogate 

Crews from Harrogate attended a report of a tree branch hanging precariously over a cycle path.  Crews made the branch safe by using a recipricating saw.

11:29  A171, Nr Flask Inn

Crews from Whitby attended a report of a small camp fire in a layby.  Advice was given and the camp fire was extinguished using one hose reel jet.

11:57  Leeds Road, Selby 

Crews from Selby attended a van on fire.  Crews used one hose reel jet, breathing apparatus and foam to extinguish the fire.

12:01  Thistle Hill, Knaresborough 

Crews from Knaresborough and Harrogate attended a property where there had been a flash back from a boiler.  On arrival, there was no fire and advice was given to the occupier.

12:27  A168, Thirsk

Crews from Boroughbridge, Northallerton and Easingwold attended reports of a road traffic collision involving one car and one HGV.  On arrival no persons were trapped and incident was left with Police and Ambulance.

12:34  Kirby Misperton 

Crews from Malton and Sherburn attended a fire in a commercial property.  Crews used 4 breathing apparatus, one hose reel and thermal image camera to extinguish the fire.  Cause believed to be accidental within an electrical appliance.

14:57  Queens Gardens, Tadcaster

Crews from Tadcaster attended black smoke sighted, on arrival this was controlled burning in allotments with responsible person in attendance.

16:16  Davygate, York

York crews attended a property to release two persons from a lift using small tools.
