12:30 – Haxby Road, York
A crew from York assisted paramedics with the difficult extrication of a casualty from a property. They used crew power to move the patient into a waiting road ambulance to be transported to hospital.
12:17 – Lotherton
Crews from Tadcaster responded to a call regarding a child accidentally locked in a car. The crew used pack ex and a glass punch to gain entry to the vehicle through a window and unlock the vehicle.
14:12 – Brookside Avenue, Bedale
A crew from Northallerton assisted with gaining entry to a property where an elderly occupant had fallen. The crew used a triple extension ladder to access the property through a window and open the door to allow paramedics entry.
16:26 – Fulford Ings, York
A crew from York attended an incident involving a fallen tree on fire. They extinguished the fire using buckets of water from the River Ouse.
17:17 – Pottergate, Helmsley
Crews from Helmsley, Kirkbymoorside and Thirsk are currently en route to reports of a kitchen fire. This incident is ongoing at the time of publication.
Crews from York, Scarborough and Reeth responded to incidents throughout the day that were all confirmed to be false alarms.
