Incident Summary – 18th March – Night Shift

Time: 17.28  Location:  Lewis Road, Northallerton

A crew from Northallerton responded to a report of persons locked inside their electric vehicle after the electrics failed.  The occupants were released from the vehicle after accessing the online owners manual which resolved the issue.

Time: 18.33  Location:  Scott Road, Selby

A crew from Selby responded to a report of petrol leaking from a vehicle in a car park.  Crews used environmental Pack to clear the spill and make the area safe.

Time: 19.48  Location:  Leeman Park, York

A crew from Acomb responded to a report of a fire in the open that was believed to have been started by youths.  Crews extinguished the fire using a knapsack sprayer and the Police were informed as the cause was believed to be deliberate.

Time: 20.56  Location: B1257, Great Broughton

A crew from Stokesley responded to a report of a fire that had been seen by a member of public from the road.  Crews found a fire consisting of wood and building materials which was approximately 4m x 4m which was extinguished using a hose reel jet.

Time: 21.18  Location:  Broughton Road, Skipton

A Crew from Skipton responded to a report of a fire which was near a road and reportedly the smoke was affecting the traffic.  On arrival the crews located a small bonfire with a responsible person present. Crews gave advice.

Time: 22.26  Location:  Halfpenny House Road, Catterick Garrison.

A crew from Richmond responded to a report of a fire sighted in a wooded area.  On arrival the crews were unable to locate the fire after a thorough search.

Time: 23.57  Location: Hackness Road, Scarborough

A crew from Scarborough rersponded to a request to assist Ambulance with extrication of a casualty from the first floor of a property.  Crews used crew power to assist with moving the casualty into a waiting Ambulance.

Time: 00.03  Location:  Regent Street, Scarborough

A Crew from Scarborough responded to a request from Ambulance to assist with extrication of casualty from a premises and into a waiting Ambulance. Crew used crew power to assist.

Time: 01.35  Location:  Turpin Court, York

A crew from York responded to a request to assist Ambulance to gain entry to a property due to concerns for the casualty inside. Crews used the Gain Kit to access the property and Ambulance took the occupant to hospital by road.
