09:56 – Stainsacre, Whitby

A crew from Whitby were mobilised to an incident in order to assist ambulance with gaining entry and a difficult extrication of a patient. Crews used lock breaking equipment and crew power to assist, the incident was left with ambulance.

09:59 – A1237, Hopgrove

A crew from York were requested by police to assist with scene safety at a road traffic collision. Crews used a thermal imaging camera check the vehicles and left the incident with police.

10:01 – Strensall Common, Strensall

Crews from Acomb, York and Malton attended an incident involving a large fire in the open. Crews used 2 backpack sprayers and wild fire rakes to extinguish the fire and left it with the responsible person.

11:01 – Wiggington Road, York

A crew from Tadcaster were mobilised to an automatic alarm sounding at a residential property. After investigation, this was found to be a false alarm.

11:31 – The Shrubberies,Cliffe

A crew from Selby were requested by ambulance to assist with the difficult extrication of a casualty from inside their property. Crews used a drag sheet and crew power to move the patient into the road ambulance. The incident was left with paramedics.

15:10 – A65, Skipton

A crew from Skipton were mobilised to an incident involving a single vehicle road traffic collision. On crews arrival, the casualty was out of the vehicle and with paramedics. Crews used E spreaders to assist police with moving the vehicle to a safe location. The incident was left with police and ambulance staff.

15:35 – Cold Bath Road, Harrogate

Both crews from Harrogate attended a residential property with an automatic fire alarm sounding. After investigation this was found to be a false alarm.

16:00 – Appletreewick

Grassington’s crew were mobilised to a small bonfire in the open, they used 1 hose reel jet to extinguish and gave advice to the responsible people.
