Time: 11:40  Location: Whitby

Crew from Whitby were called to a report of a bin on fire. On arrival the fire was already out. Crew used 1 hose reel jet to dampen down.

Time: 13:23  Location: Skipton

Crew from Skipton responded to reports of a fire in a residential home. This was found to be a fire to a roll of wallpaper started deliberately

Time: 13:42  Location: Pickering

Crew from Malton assisted after a child became stuck in a pair of children’s handcuffs after the lock failed. Crew used crew power only to release the cuffs from the child.

Time: 14:29 Location: York

Crew from Acomb attended a 2 vehicle road traffic collision. All persons were out on arrival of crew. They performed scene safety before leaving incident in hands of the police.

Time:14:30  Location: Skipton

Crew from Skipton assisted a person who had become locked in the public toilets after the door handle fell off. Crew used small tools to release the occupant.

Time: 15:10  Location: Sherburn in Elmet

Crew from Tadcaster attended a fire in some woodland started deliberately by youths. The fire consisted of approx 6 logs. Crew extinguished using 2 knapsack sprayers.

Time: 15:43  Location: Markington

Crew from Ripon were mobilised to reports of scaffolding that had been hit by a vehicle and come down in to the road. Crew removed the scaffolding to make the scene safe and left in hands of police.
