Incident Summary – Monday 30th March 2026, Day Shift

Time: 08:54  Location: Eden Road, Northallerton 

A crew from Northallerton responded to a request for assistance in gaining entry to a residential property where the occupant had fallen. Crews gained access to the property and left the occupant in the care of carers.

Time: 09:52 Location: Jenny Field Lane, Harrogate

Crews from Harrogate attended a flood within a premises. Water pumps had suffered a power cut causing water to rise close to electrics. Crews assisted with isolating the water and monitoring the situation then the situation was left with staff once the electrics restored.

Time: 11:23 Location: Coney Street York

Crews from York and Acomb attended a retail premises due to an automatic fire alarm and mention of smoke coming from the basement. This was confirmed to be a false alarm.

Time: 11:24  Location: Church Lane, East Marton

Crews from Skipton, Hawes and over border appliances Barnoldswick and Earby attended a diesel fire that spread to the garage. The fire was out on arrival but crews assisted with making the scene safe, cutting away insulation from the garage that was affected by the fire. Thermal imaging camera also used to check for any further hotspots.

A crew from Scarborough attended to persons stuck in a lift, lift keys used to bring them down to safety.

Time: 13:24  Location: Thorpe Lane, Cawood

Crew from Selby attended a residential premises to assist with removing a patient from a property into the Ambulance. Crew power used and left the patient in the care of Paramedics.

Time: 16:21  Location: Inholmes Lane, Tadcaster

Tadcaster crew attended a residential premises to assist with a casualty that had fallen, crew power used to lift them back up to safety and left in the care of a family member.
