Time: 08:44  Location: Richmond Road, Hipswell

A crew from Richmond responded to a bin that was on fire outside a commercial property. Crews extinguished using a hose reel jet and advice was given to the property owner.

Time: 10:45  Location: Cross Hills

A crew from Skipton responded to a property where people were stuck in a lift. Crews used small tools to release three people who were safe and well.

Time: 11:19  Location: Thorp Arch, Wetherby

A crew from Tadcaster attended a fire to a shed in a garden alongside appliances from West Yorkshire fire and rescue service. Shortly after arrival Tadcaster were released from the incident and it was left in the hands of West Yorkshire fire and rescue.

Time: 14:03  Location: Fountains Avenue, Harrogate

A crew from Harrogate responded to a report of a fire sighted in a garden. On arrival this was found to be a controlled burn under supervision. Advice was given.

Time: 14:25  Location: North Moor Road, Easingwold

Crews from York and Easingwold responded to a fire in a crop field which had accidentally started from a nearby bonfire. Crews extinguished the pockets of fire in the field using beaters and then extinguished the bonfire using a hose reel jet.

Time: 14:35  Location: Silver Street, York

Crews from York and Acomb responded to reports of smoke inside a commercial property. The fire was out on arrival of crews and this was found to be caused by a cigarette end that was in cardboard. Advice was given.

Time: 15:05  Location: Ouse Bank, Selby

A crew from Selby attended a small fire in a derelict building. This was a fire to a rubbish pile and crews extinguished using a hose reel jet. Cause believed deliberate.

Time: 16:04  Location: Scholla Lane, Northallerton

A crew from Northallerton responded to a fire sighted in the open. Crews extinguished the fire using a hose reel jet.

Time: 16:22  Location: Main Street, Pannal

A crew from Harrogate responded to a fire sighted in the open. This was found to be a tree which was on fire and crews extinguished using a knapsack sprayer and a bucket of water.

Crews from Northallerton, Richmond, Whitby and Scarborough responded to fire alarm activations. On arrival, after investigation, these were all confirmed as false alarms.
