Incident Summary – 19th April 2026, Sunday Dayshift
Time: 08:08 Location: Cliff Gate Road, Thwaites
A crew from Hawes attended a single vehicle road traffic collision in which a vehicle had left the road, collided with steel barriers and come to rest on a wire rope barrier protection system protecting them from the cliff edge. The occupants of the vehicle were out on arrival of the crews who then made the scene safe.

A crew from Whitby responded to a request from Ambulance to help extricate a casualty from a residential property to a road ambulance.
Time: 10:13 Location: Amotherby Lane, Amotherby
A crew from Malton responded to a fire sighted in the open. This was found to be a small fire consisting of a high visibility jacket. Crews extinguished using a hose reel jet.
Time: 11:10 Location: Skipton Road, Harrogate
Both crews from Harrogate attended a two vehicle toad traffic collision. On arrival of the crew all occupants were out of the vehicles. Crews made the scene safe and the incident was left with the police.
Time: 14:01 Location: Station Road, Thirsk
A crew from Thirsk responded to reports of a bin on fire. This was found to be a small fire consisting of cardboard and was out on arrival of the crew. Crews dampened down using buckets of water.

A crew from Scarborough responded to a request from Ambulance to gain entry to a property over concerns for the occupier. Crews used a Halligan tool to gain entry and the occupier was left in the care of paramedics.
Time: 16:06 Location: Royal Parade, Filey
A crew from Scarborough responded to a person who had become locked inside a restroom due to a faulty lock. Small tools were used to release the person who was safe and well.
Time: 16:12 Location: Albemarle Crescent
A crew from Scarborough responded to a fire alarm activation in a residential property. On arrival after investigation this was confirmed to be a false alarm.
