Time: 10:14  Location: North Lane, York

Crews from York and Acomb responded to multiple reports of trees on fire in a garden which had spread to a garden shed. The shed was out on arrival of the crew but the trees were well alight. Crews extinguished using a hose reel jet.

Time: 10:33  Location: Strawberry Dale Avenue, Harrogate

A crew from Harrogate responded to flooding inside a residential property. The water and electrics had already been isolated and crews used a light portable pump to clear the flood water.

Time: 10:46  Location: Primrose Valley

A crew from Filey responded to a two vehicle road traffic collision. All persons were out on arrival and the crew isolated both vehicles. The incident was left with the police.

A crew from Scarborough responded to a vehicle which was well alight. Crews used a hose reel jet, thermal imaging camera and one breathing apparatus to extinguish.

A crew from Helmsley responded to a vehicle which was well alight. Crews extinguished using a hose reel jet.

Time: 11:23 Location: Beech Avenue, Harrogate

A crew from Harrogate responded to a bin which was on fire. Crews used a bucket of water to extinguish. Cause believed accidental.

Time: 14:25  Location: Colne and Broughton Road, Thornton in Craven

A crew from Skipton responded to a kitten which had become trapped under floorboards. Crews used small tools to remove boxing, release the kitten and reunite them with their owner.

A crew from Scarborough responded to a fire sighted in the open. Crews located a smouldering area of gorse and used two knapsack sprayers and a thermal imaging camera to dampen down the area and check for hotspots.

A crew from York responded to a person stuck in a lift. Small tools were used to release the person safe and well.

Crews from Harrogate and Ripon attended fire alarm activations. On arrival, after investigation these were all confirmed as false alarms.
