Time:   17:16      Location: Whitcliffe Lane, Ripon

Ripon mobilised to 5 small fires measuring approximately 1 x 1 metres each in some woodland. Crews used knapsack sprayers and buckets of water to extinguish the fires and police were informed as it is believed these fires were started deliberately.

Time:   18:14      Location: Helmsley Road, Stokesley

An assisting fire appliance from Cleveland responded to an activated fire alarm inside a residential building with Northallerton crew also enroute. After inspection, this was confirmed as a false alarm and Northallerton were stood down as no further action was required. Cleveland crews have advice before returning back to their area.

Time:   18:39      Location: Boroughbridge Road, Knaresborough

Knaresborough responded to a two vehicle road traffic collision. One person involved was assisted from their vehicle and transported to hospital via road. Crews made the other vehicle safe and removed it from the main road. Crew power used only and incident left with police.

Time:   19:08      Location: Hookstone Beck, Harrogate

A crew from Harrogate responded to a small fire campfire measuring 1 by 1 metres left unattended. Crews located the fire on foot and extinguished using two knapsack sprayers.

Time:  19:16       Location: Garnet Terrace, Acomb

Acomb responded to a small fire to some undergrowth measuring approximately 1 x 1 metre which was believed to had been set deliberately. Crews extinguished the fire using a knapsack sprayer.

Time:  19:33       Location: Bond End, Knaresborough

Knaresborough responded to reports of a small fire in the open. Crew located a person using a BBQ under supervision. Advice given

Time:  19:56      Location: Keighley Road, Skipton

Skipton assisted ambulance with gaining entry to a property. Crews gained access using small tools and left the casualty in the care of paramedics.

Time:  20:29       Location: North Marine Road, Scarborough

A crew from Scarborough assisted a person in a wheelchair which had become stuck in the middle of the road. Crews moved the wheelchair to a safe place for the occupant to make their onward journey.

Time:   21:15      Location: Blue Bridge Lane, York

A crew from York responded to reports of a campfire in the open. This was a BBQ with responsible person. Crews gave advice only.

Time:  22:13       Location: Keighley Road, Cowling

Skipton and an assisting appliance from Lancashire responded to reports of a fire in a field. After inspection, this was confirmed as controlled burning under supervision with the fire confined to a metal skip.

Boroughbridge mobilised to a fire seen behind a property. Crews discovered a campfire unsupervised and extinguished it using a bucket of water.

Time:   23:09      Location: Ramshill Road, Scarborough

A crew from Scarborough responded to a person trapped inside a lift of  residential building. Crews used lift keys to release the person and advice was given.

Time:    23:26     Location: Mill Hill Lane, Northallerton

A crew Northallerton mobilised to a fire measuring 2 x 2 metres consisting of wood in the middle of a playing field. Crews extinguished the fire using a hose reel jet and police were informed as it is believed this fire was caused deliberately.

Time: 00:14        Location: Queen Victoria Street, York

York and Acomb responded to a shower switch overheating inside a residential property. Crews isolated the switch and monitored the temperatures using a thermal imaging camera. A section of ladder was also used to inspect a loft area to check for any signs of smoke and fire. No fire damage evident at switch and advice was given to the occupant.

Selby responded to a fire close to a railway line after it had been spotted by a train driver. Crews located a fire measuring 3 x 3 metres and extinguished using a hose reel jet. Incident was left with Network Rail officer who informed all passing train drivers that residual steam could vent off from where fire was extinguished for sometime during the night.

Northallerton responded to a mini epilator stuck to the upper lip piercing on a persons face. Crews used small tools to dismantle the epilator.

Time:  01:41       Location: A168, Walshford

Knaresborough and Harrogate responded to reports of smoke seen coming from a domestic property. On arrival this was confirmed to be cooking fumes from a toaster. Crews gave advice to the occupant.

Time:  02:48       Location: Kirkbymoorside

Kirkbymoorside responded to an activated fire alarm. After inspection, this was confirmed as a false alarm.

Time: 06:31        Location: Station Road Stokesley

A crew Stokesley responded to reports of a fire alarm action in a residential property. This was a false alarm caused by insects.

Time: 06:33        Location: Wenworth Way, Heslington

A crew from York responded to reports of a fire alarm action in a residential property. This was a false alarm caused by dust.
