Incident Summary Day Shift – Monday 15th June 2026
10:15 – Caledonia Street, Scarborough
A crew from Scarborough responded to a request from Yorkshire Ambulance Service (YAS) to gain entry to a property on their behalf. On arrival, crews were no longer required.
10:17 – Broadway, Scarborough
A crew from Robin Hoods Bay responded to a request from North Yorkshire Police (NYP) to gain entry to a property on behalf of YAS. On arrival, crews were no longer required.
10:57 – Sneaton
Crews from Whitby and Scarborough responded to reports of a single vehicle road traffic collision, where a car had come off the road. Crews administered first aid as a precaution to the driver of the vehicle, and made the scene safe.
11.58 – Spring Lane, Pannal
Crews from Harrogate responded to reports of a fire to a tumble dryer, in the garage of a 2 story semi detached residential property. The fire was out on arrival, extinguished by the occupier using a garden hose and removed to open air. Crews inspected only with no action being taken as a result of the fire. Crews provided immediate emergency care to the occupier, before they were left in the hands of paramedics. Fire damage was sustained to the dryer only. The cause was accidental.
12.34 – Beech View, North Duffield
A crew from Selby assisted a patient from their property to the awaiting road ambulance, to be taken to hospital.
12:51, Olympian Court, York
A crew from Acomb responded to reports of multiple people locked inside a residential building when the lock had failed. Crews used a reciprocating saw to gain access to the property.
13:48, Beck Hole, Goathland
Crews from Whitby and Goathland responded to reports of a lineside fire, measuring 5m by 5m. Crews used a 45mm hose to extinguish the fire.
14:04, Blansby Park Lane, Newbridge
A crew from Malton responded to reports of a fire in the open. This was a false alarm with good intent, no fire was found.
14:05, Barr Lane, Stockton on the Forest
A crew from Acomb responded to a request from NYP to make the scene safe following a road traffic collision involving an electric vehicle. Crews monitored the temperature of the battery.
14:07, Main Street, Irton
A crew from Scarborough responded to a request to assist an occupational therapist with the movement of a person from the upstairs to the downstairs of a property.
15:25, Copmanthorpe Lane, York
A crew from York came across person who had fallen in the street. Crews provided first aid and assisted with transporting the casualty into the ambulance.
16:33, Church Street, Pateley Bridge
A crew from Summerbridge responded to reports of flooding coming from a bathroom into the sitting room of a property. This incident is currently ongoing.
