Time: 09:32  Location: Chatsworth Grove, Harrogate

Both crews from Harrogate responded to a report of an electrical clicking noise and smell of burning from a residential property. On arrival, after investigation this was confirmed as a false alarm with good intent and was found to be an issue with an intruder alarm.

Time: 10:09  Location: Aire Valley Drive, Low Bradley

A crew from Skipton responded to a fire alarm activation in a residential property. On arrival, after investigation this was confirmed to be a false alarm.

Time:10:32  Location: Tadcaster Road, Dringhouses

A crew from Acomb responded to a young person who was accidently locked inside a vehicle. Crews gained entry to the vehicle via a rear passenger window allowing them to open a door and release the young person who was unharmed and left in the care of their guardian.

Time: 11:10  Location: Avenue Victoria, Scarborough

A crew from Scarborough responded to a seagull which was stuck in wire mesh. Crews used a 9m ladder to release the seagull and they were left in the care of a responsible person.

Time: 12:35  Location: Wedderburn Lodge, Harrogate

A crew from Harrogate responded to assist the ambulance service with the extrication of a patient. Crew power was used to extricate the patient from a property to a road ambulance.

Time: 13:36  Location: East Cowton

Crews from Northallerton and Richmond alongside an appliance from Darlington and Durham fire and rescue service responded to a vehicle fire which had spread to a garage and property. Crews extinguished using two hose reel jets and four breathing apparatus.

Time: 13:58  Location: Hackness Road, Scarborough

A crew from Scarborough responded to a fire in the open. The fire was out on arrival of the crew and no fire service action was required.

Time: 14:29  Location: Esplanade, Scarborough

A crew from Scarborough responded to smoke sighted in the open. On arrival this was found to be a false alarm and no fire service action was required.

Time: 15:39  Location: Brayton

A crew from Selby attended a two vehicle road traffic collision. All persons were out of the vehicles and crew made the scene safe.

Time: 15:54  Location: Cloughton, Scarborough

Whilst out mobile a crew from Robin Hoods Bay came across a two vehicle road traffic collision. All persons were out of the vehicles, crews made the scene safe and helped the Police to move the vehicles.

Time: 16:07  Location: Southfield Avenue, Ripon

A crew from Harrogate responded to a fire alarm activation in a residential building. This was found to be from burnt cooking.

Time: 16:46 Location: Castleton, Whitby

Crews from Lythe and Whitby responded to smoke inside a residential property. This incident is ongoing at the time of publication.
