Incident Summary – 5th July – Day Shift

Time: 07:53     Location: Harrogate

Harrogate Crews attended an automatic fire alarm at a residential property. Upon arrival was found to be a false alarm. Advice was given and no further action taken.

Time: 08:44      Location: Main Street, Bulmer 

Malton Crews attended a small fire in the open measuring approximately 10mx20m. Crews used 1 Hose Reel Jet to extinguish the fire.

Time:  09:23      Location:  Gristhorpe 

Scarborough Crews were mobilised to a small fire in the open. The fire was out on arrival. Advice was given and left with responsible persons on scene.

Time: 12:17     Location: Moor Lane, Skipton

Skipton Crews attended a road traffic collision involving an electric vehicle. No persons were trapped. Crews assisted with making the scene and both vehicles safe using small tools and incident left with Police.

Time: 14:10     Location: Green Lane, Harrogate

Harrogate Crews were mobilised to a trailor on fire. Fire was out on arrival. Crews used 1 Hose Reel Jet to cool and a Thermal Imaging Camera to check for hot spots. Left in the responsibility of police.

Time: 15:19    Location:  The Burn, York

Acomb and York Crews were mobilised to a controlled burn that had spread to a fence and nearby field. Crews used 2 Hose Reel Jets to extinguish the fire. Advice was given and left with the responsible person on scene.

Time: 16:41    Location: Plantation Road, Harrogate

A crew from Harrogate were mobilised to a report of a fire sighted in the woods. Fire located and measured approx 1m x 1m. Knapsack sprayer used to extinguish.
