Update at 15:18 Firefighters are still in attendance that this incident. They are using an Aerial Ladder Platform (ALP), a number of main jets, and a Hose Reel Jet (HRJ) on the fire. Please continue to avoid the area.

We’re currently responding to an incident involving a building on the Malton and Norton District Hospital site.
A number of fire crews are on the scene.
Hospital staff have confirmed all people are accounted for.
Residents and anyone nearby may notice large amounts of smoke. As a precaution, please keep all doors and windows closed.
