Time: 17.06  Location: Knolls Lane, Hawnby

A crew from Helmsley responded to assist a person from a bath and into a chair.  Crews used crew power to assist.

Time: 17.13  Location: Acomb Wood Drive, York

A crew from Easingwold responded to a report of a tree smoldering in some woods.  On arrival the crews located a fire measuring approx 3m x 3m.  Crews extinguished using knapsack sprayers and buckets of water.

Time: 17.22  Location:  Sunningdale Close, York

A crew from Knaresborough responded to a report of a garden fence on fire.  On arrival the crews found a fire that was affecting approx 6ft x 2ft of fencing. Crews used 1 hose reel jet to extinguish the fire and 2 knapsack sprayers to dampen down the surrounding area.

Time: 17.23  Location:  Endcliffe Crescent, Scarborough

A crew from Scarborough responded to a report of a fire in a woodland.  On arrival the crew located a log that was smoldering and extinguished it using knapsack sprayers.

Time: 17.33  Location:  Leeming Lane, Burneston

Crews from Bedale, Ripon, Leyburn, Northallerton and Richmond responded to a report of a bailer that had set on fire in a stubble field. The fire affected approx 200m x 200m of the field and approx 20 bales of straw.  Crews used 4 breathing apparatus, 2 hose reel jets, 2 leaf blowers and beaters to extinguish the fire.

A Crew from Selby assisted ambulance to extricate a casualty from their property into an ambulance.  Crews used crew power to lift the casualty.

Time: 18.25  Location:  Foxwood Lane, York

A crew from Acomb responded to a report of a fire that had been set by youths.  On arrival the crew located 3 separate seats of fire to grass that they extinguished using buckets of water and beaters.  Police were informed due to deliberate nature of fire starting.

Time: 18.46  Location:  Kent street, York

York crews used crew power to assist a person with a suspected broken ankle into a vehicle to be taken to hospital.

Time: 19.07  Location:  Bilbrough Top, Colton

A crew from Tadcaster responded to a report of a person who had become locked out of their car with their keys inside it.  Crews used Packexe and smashed a rear window to gain access to the vehicle.

Time: 19.29  Location:  Thanet Road, York

York crew responded to a report of youths setting fires in a park.  Crews located a fire to approximately 6 square metres of grassland and extinguished it using 1 hose reel jet.  Police were informed due to the deliberate nature of the cause of the fire starting.

Time: 19.46  Location: Bellhouse Way, York

A crew from York responded to report of youths starting fires in a park.  On arrival of the crews the fire was already extinguished and no fire service action was required. Police were informed of this incident.

Time: 19.53  Location:  Fairfax Avenue, Harrogate

A crew from Harrogate responded to a report of youths starting a fire in a community area.  Crews extinguished a small fire found using 1 hose reel jet and dampened down the area to prevent further incidents.

Time: 20.14  Location:  Rawcliff Lake, York

A crew from Acomb responded to a report of a fire to a wooded area.  Crews completed a thorough search of the woodland and no fire was found.

Time: 20.53  Location:  Leeman Road, York

A crew from York responded to a report of a fire set in a park. Crews found a tree on fire, 01 hose reel jet was used to extinguish the fire.

Time: 21.00  Location:  Kings Gardens, Sowerby

A crew from Thirsk responded to a report of a fire in the garden of a residential property.  On arrival the crews found this to be a controlled burn and the responsible person had adequate extinguishing media easily available.  No Fire Service action required.

Time: 21.43  Location: Bull Lane, York 

Acomb crews responded to reports of a fire to bushes. On arrival this was found to be a false alarm due to controlled burning. Advice was given to the responsible person present.

Time: 00.05  Location: Great Broughton 

Crews from Stokesley responded to a single vehicle road traffic collision. The vehicle was in a ditch and the driver was released. Fire crews provided initial first aid whilst awaiting paramedics.

Time: 02.07  Location:  The Crescent, Selby

A crew from Selby responded to a request to gain access to a property for Ambulance crews to access a casualty who was not responding to them.  On arrival of the crew contact was made with the occupant and no fire service action was required.

Time: 05.11  Location: Osgodby Lane, Scarborough

A crew from Scarborough responded to an automatic fire alarm activating at a domestic property.  On arrival the crews found this to be a faulty detector head.  Crews reset the system.
