High Street to Rievaulx Bank, Helmsley

Crews from Kirbymoorside and Pickering are currently in attendance at a crop fire in a field off the B1257 outside of Helmsley.

The fire measures approximately 200 x 100 metres and had been suppressed by farmers prior to arrival.

Crews are using 1 Hose Reel Jet to dampen down and a Thermal imaging camera (TIC) to check for hotspots on a combine harvester,
