Crews remained at the scene into the evening damping down hotspots.
The incident remains open for a revisit this morning

We currently have several crews in attendance at a field fire off Milford Road, South Milford. We received the call around 18:00
The fire covers approximately 15 acres. Firefighters are working alongside local farmers using water bowsers to contain the fire and prevent it from spreading further.
Please avoid the area and keep roads clear to allow emergency vehicles access.
